“Are you seeing this?!” Jhed & Adora
I recently did this quick sketch of Jhed and Adora from my work-in-progess “Legend of the Ztarr” series. I’m not sure what’s she’s pointing at, but apparently it’s something that Jhed has seen plenty of times before which Adora finds amazing; I imagine that doesn’t narrow it down much since I’m sure there is plenty of ‘stuff’ in the big ‘ole galaxy that Captain Jhed Slayer has seen that Adora hasn’t! He looks annoyed, but I think Jhed is the kind of guy that would admire her sense of awe and wonder. Ah, yes…he secretly finds it so cute!
And, voila! The start of the coloured version. No shading yet, just the base colours. I’m writing this entry on my notebook and I’m noticing the colours look kind of washed out on this screen. All my illustration work is done on my Alienware with my Wacom tablet and the colours look a lot brighter and nicer on the Cintiq’s display. Larger version here (1038×816)
